Norman Redcliffe entered the life insurance industry in1969 as an agent in South Africa with The Manufacturer’s Life Insurance Company (now known as Manulife Financial). In 1973 Norman was invited to work in Manulife’s Vancouver office. Three years later, he incorporated Redcliffe Financial Group to specialize in group benefits, life insurance and annuity brokerage.

In March 2006, Norman’s third son, Christopher Redcliffe, formally joined the family business after graduation from the University of Victoria. Christopher has worked part-time in the business since he was able to walk and now leads the succession plan for Redcliffe Financial Group.
